*AS THE PAIN SWEEPS THROUGH, MAKES NO SENSE FOR YOU - EVERY THRILL IS GONE...

Woke up this morning to the very sad news that DAVID BOWIE has passed away just three days after his 69th birthday, having battled with cancer over the past 18 months...

Like most of his fans, this man's music has been a constant source of comfort throughout my entire life and judging by the response of the Internet already, this is gonna be a rough week for a lot of music lovers...

*DEALT THIS DOPE FROM ATL TO NEW YORK...

Seeing how my last post featured a talented new rapper from Florida that sounds a lot like ANDRÉ BENJAMIN of OUTKAST, I thought I would cleverly follow that one up with a track featuring BIG BOI, the other 1/2 of that legendary ATL rap duo...

Having already worked with them on one of his previous albums, BIG BOI has re-teamed with PHANTOGRAM this year on a killer new project called BIG GRAMS... I absolutely loved this record and placed it in my Top 3, so do yourselves a favor and watch their trippy video for the song "Fell In the Sun"... Awesome stuff!

*OUR LOVE IS LIKE A ROLLER COASTER - SPINNING IN MY MIND...

As you may have recently learned, one of my favorite Hip-Hop records of this year was from a promising new duo called GOLDEN RULES, comprised of UK producer Paul White and Florida emcee Eric Biddines, who actually sounds a lot like ANDRÉ 3000 but in a good way...

Check out their video for the single "It's Over", one of the highlight tracks appearing on their debut album GOLDEN TICKET, which just came out this past August... Definitely worth a listen!

*SHE'S NEVER GONNA GIVE HIM - NEVER GONNA GIVE HIM UP...

 photo jennylee_zpsyidl2e8q.jpg

I was a really big fan of WARPAINT's self-titled 2014 album, so when news broke earlier this Fall that bassist JENNY LEE LINDBERG was going to be releasing her solo debut RIGHT ON! via ROUGH TRADE RECORDS on December 11th, I got super stoked and I might have even peed a little...

Thanks to promotional CD's, I'm now two weeks into listening to this dreamy psychedelic record and I am loving what I'm hearing... Any fans of her band's previous efforts will not be disappointed... Below you can hear a live radio performance of my second favorite song from JENNYLEE's killer album entitled "He Fresh"...

For those who still want more, you can also check out her video for the song "Never" below...

*STUCK IN FEELING SOMETHING REAL - SKEPTIC TO A NEW IDEAL...

Female Pop stars continue to dominate my personal music airwaves these days, so be sure to check out KACY HILL, a beautifully-freckled ginger-haired singer/ dancer/ model from PhoenixAZ who recently released her BLOO EP on KANYE WEST's label G.O.O.D. MUSIC...

Consisting of only three songs and two remixes, this new EP sure does you leave you craving more, so I'm hoping that KACY's debut full-length is not far down the road... Above you'll find the video for her awesome single "Foreign Fields"... Good stuff!

*YEAH BABY I GOT THAT SPECIAL JUST FOR YOU...

TINASHE is unarguably one of the hottest RnB divas in the game right now and she certainly isn't showing any signs of slowing down... Her latest video is for "Party Favors", a sexy new single appearing on her upcoming sophomore album JOYRIDE, which hopefully drops in early 2016... Damn, she is fine...

*NOW I'M FOURFIVESECONDS FROM WILDIN' - AND WE GOT THREE MORE HOURS TIL FRIDAY!!!

Today is the official day for giving thanks, but shouldn't every day really be a day for being thankful??? Well friends, tonight I am most thankful for tomorrow's release of RIHANNA's new album ANTI via the online streaming service TIDAL... The retail/physical release is actually next Friday, but I can guarantee that I will be bumping this shit loud & proud before the weekend is up... So stoked!

***UPDATED 12.13.15***
Looks like I've been cruelly tricked by The InterWebz, because here we are two weeks later and still no sign of a release... Damn!

*SOMEONE'S IN MY FRUIT CELLAR!!! SOMEONE WITH A FRESH SOOOUL!!!

Earlier this week, I was perusing the mammoth archive galleries on the MONDO website and started salivating over all of the awesome horror film prints (once available for purchase), so I thought want not share a link to their site and display some of my favorites down below in honor of tomorrow's evilicious holiday... Dig the art..

*TENDER LUMP LINGS EVERYWHERE!!! LIFE'S NO FUN WITHOUT A GOOD SCARE!!!

If you're not already following HISTORY IN PICTURES on the Twittermachine then you best get to rectifying that asap, because earlier today they previewed some genuinely eerie photos from a gallery on ALL DAY.COM entitled "Halloween Costumes Were Much Scarier In 1900"...

I've shared some of my personal favorites above and below, but be sure to check out the entire gallery if you enjoy looking at spooky shit like this...

*NOW I AIN'T SAYING SHE A GOLD DIGGER, BUT SHE AIN'T MESSIN' WITH NO - BROKE BROKE...

For those of you with a little time to kill (pun intended), feel free to check out one of my favorite episodes from the original HBO series TALES FROM THE CRYPT, starring an attractive young actress named DEMI MOORE and a grotesquely transformed JEFFREY TAMBOR... This will surely get you into a festive mood!

On a side note, "Dead Right" originally aired in 1990 and was directed by HOWARD DEUTCH, who got his start helming films for JOHN HUGHES such as PRETTY IN PINK, SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL and THE GREAT OUTDOORS... More recently he's worked on the criminally-underrated HBO series GETTING ON... Thankfully, that hilarious show is coming back for a third season real soon... Until then, watch this creepy tale of love and deceit, posted in three parts...

PART 3

*WELCOME THE DUDE WHO AIN'T THE BUYER OF MUGS...

Sure I've posted this before, but it's unarguably one of the greatest clips on YouTube... And those friggin' dance moves around the 59 second mark sure are spectacular... Thanks again Internet!!!

*YOU DID NOT BREAK ME... I'M STILL FIGHTING FOR PEACE...

Like most people with two ears and really good taste, I was a huge fan of SIA's single "Elastic Heart" from her critically acclaimed 2014 album 1000 FORMS OF FEAR, so it was extra cool to watch this recent live performance of FKA twigs covering that beloved, yet utterly heart-wrenching track...

So many awesome lady Pop Stars totally killing it right now that it's almost getting hard to keep up with them all... This is my kind of problem...
